Library

The school has a beautiful library with a wide range of books to foster a love of
reading in children. The school celebrates ‘World Book Day’ every year and variousactivities are organised to encourage children to read, such as dressing up as their favourite character and writing book reviews.

Classes also get an opportunity to visit Ballyroan Library to take part in interesting and enjoyable activities such as meeting authors, reading workshops and so on.

Book Fairs

Every year, the Parents’ Association ‘Cairde na Scoile’ organise a book fair. Not only does the fair give children the opportunity to buy new books that they like, but some of the money raised is also used to purchase new books for the school library.
